No depot is at the terminal itself.
Britz, maui, Apollo, Mighty and Cheapa Campa share 14 Long Street, a 400 m walk.
LeisureRent runs a free shuttle from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Most other Cambridge depots are 5 to 10 minutes by taxi.
Wombat Campers ($300) and Biami Campers (extra cost) can hand a van over at the airport.
What if my flight lands after the depot closes?
At Long Street you need to arrive by 2:30pm. Spaceships lets you collect at any time, contactless.
LeisureRent gives you a lockbox PIN with your booking.
Tasvanlife can arrange a later pick-up if you book ahead. Or start your hire the next morning.
Which Hobart campervans have a shower and toilet?
All of maui's motorhomes have one. So do Britz's Trailblazer and Cruisin's Sandpiper, Seeker and Deluxe.
GoCheap's Tamar, Henty and Derwent have one too.

How much does campervan hire in Hobart cost?
Tasmanian Campervan Hire publishes $110 to $170 a day for a 2-berth van, depending on season and hire length (checked 23 October 2026).
The other companies price by date, so run a search for yours.
Is there a minimum hire period?
Tasmania Campers asks for 5 days, 8 between 20 December and 10 January.
Tasmanian Campervan Hire asks for 6 days, 10 in peak season. Others set it by vehicle and date.
Can I take a Hobart campervan to Bruny Island?
Only if your rental terms allow it. AutoRent's FAQ says its vehicles can be used on Bruny Island.
Britz lists Bruny Island among the areas that need its permission for 2WD campers.
