What Larkmile is
Larkmile is an independent comparison and travel guide site for campervan and car hire. We research rental companies, depots, vehicles and rental rules, and link you to the companies and booking partners where you can check prices and book. We are not a rental company, travel agent or booking platform, and we don't take payments.
Bookings are with the rental company
When you book, your contract is with the rental company or booking partner, on their terms: price, deposit, insurance, excess, cancellation, driver age, kilometres and where you may take the vehicle. Read those terms before you pay. Questions or complaints about a booking go to the company you booked with.
How accurate our information is
We check each fact against the company's own site or terms and show the date we checked it, following our comparison method. Companies can change depots, fleets, rules and prices at any time, so always confirm the details that matter to you with the company before booking. Rates we show are the company's published rates on the date stated. Your actual price depends on your dates and is set by the company at booking.

Using our content
The text, tables, design and data compilations on Larkmile belong to Larkmile or its licensors. You may read, share links to and quote short extracts from our pages with a link back to the page. Please don't copy whole pages or tables, or scrape the site, without our written permission. Rental company names, logos and vehicle photos belong to their owners and appear only to identify them. Landscape photos are credited on our About page.
Acceptable use
Don't use the site or its contact form to break the law, send spam or malware, overload our systems or impersonate someone else. We may block traffic that does.
Links to other sites
We link to rental companies, booking partners, tourism bodies and official sources. Those sites are run by others and we aren't responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Liability
We provide Larkmile free of charge and as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the site or from relying on information that a company has since changed, and we aren't liable for the services of rental companies or booking partners.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded, including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The version on this page, with its date, is the one that applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the country where Larkmile's operator is established, without limiting the protections of the consumer law where you live.
